Hey lads:

Frank Walsh here, for better or for worse I am Dan Walsh’s brother. More importantly I've been trying to reach the Pub, to run by you all (tho I vaguely remember perhaps gabbing with Shaun about a few months ago). a modest proposal to read, as I am a poet and then mostly out of Philadelphia but down these parts for a sojourn (again-- was here in the early to the mid nine-ties managing RPMs for Dan) and to teach my bro' a lesson or two, or more proper like "give a recital " of Irish poetry with a touch of musical accompaniment by a local musician who has expressed interest.

Supposedly and originally (Feb. 27th) I, until now, deferred bringing this idea directly to you, choosing to allow Jaxbeachartwalk.org to this. It turns out, to make a long story short that tho they put me under the impression that they were about to or in fact had gotten in touch with you and the Pub and at least forwarded my email (from March 5th!) which contains, among other things, my suggested "program" of Irish and Northern Irish poetry (and a wee bit of me own bard-ing of course) , they have not as of yet done so.

I only mention the above concerning theDolphinWorks, etc. to give you a handle on my situation. I only wish the best for their endeavors and have in fact volunteered to help them with the Artwalk, per. se..

Therefore at this point I am getting in touch with you directly.

As tomorrow begins "national poetry month" ( appropriately for poets since tomorrow is also April Fools Day!) throughout the "young sod" of the US of A, I would like to set something up with you, if you are interested and find feasible at some point in April (later the better at THIS point for advertising and promotion!), and come speak to you in person and also if I could get a personal email I can forward the aforementioned email, that would be hunky-dory.

Briefly I would want you to know that I will be "reading" under the auspices of the ULA (www.literaryrevolution.com) of which I am a member of, a "radical" independent underground writer and poet Alliance, cooperative, that is well known in the US as well as having members throughout Europe and in any event Lynch's would be touted on our main web site as a place where literature is to be found and imbibed along with your most excellent libations and Celtic cusine.

I have available specific'ly poems in my hefty oeuvre that were writ in Ire. when I went there and read in Dublin at Mother Red Cap's Tavern for the Deaddrunkdubin.com literary/music festival in August of ' 04. I'll put a sampling of these up here if you'd like for your and your fine clientele for y'alls perusal.

Hey there! Whats the craic? Heading to jacksonville on 26th August for 3 weeks with my girlfriend. Lynches is the first stop on my list to see my mates hutts and dee :-) hee hee! Come d think of it...it will prob be the only stop on my list!!!!! Heard the bar is great craic and all the bar staff are A1......even hutts! ha ha! Looking forward to meeting ye's all and enjoying a few pints.

Tell hutts d stay off the long island ice teas d the ginger one lands!

Well, basically only go to Lynch's if you want a true Irish Pub experience with the Irish wit and charm creeping up on you like a sweet smellin fart! Lynch's is the one and only! So much fun I have to drink a Guiness every time I thin...k....of.....them...sorry was chugging. I am going to go to Lynch's Monday for St Pat's and I will break the land speed record of chugness of a Guiness!

Best Damn Irish Pub in Florida!!!!!

Hey there to everyone readin'! Lynch's Irish Pub is the best damn Irish pub in all of Florida! I recently toured England and Eastern Ireland, and basically lived at multiple pubs and bars. I love a fresh pint of Guiness, Newcastle, or Killians. And when I arrived back in the states, I was homesick, or shall I say pubsick from back east. Most bars in Jax are very "scene oriented," if that makes any sense. But when I walked into Lynch's, I pissed myself! I lvoe the atmosphere and people! No wankas!!! Just pints, great music, and great fun!!! Thanks for the great times and this toast's to you!
